My name is Sharon Paulson and I
grew up in Northern NJ with my parents and my younger sister. After
graduating high school, I went to college, only to withdraw after only 2
semesters. I then entered the workforce as a strong minded 18 year old
ready to conquer the world. After working for 6-7 years, I settled down,
got married and started my family, moving from NJ to the Poconos of PA, where I
still am today.
During this time, I stayed home to raise my 2 children Austin and Isabella. In addition, I put myself through Cosmetology school, only to finish 1st in my class. I did go right to work in the hair salon business. I soon found out that although I loved what I did, the hair salon business is very cut throat and I did not like the fact that your paycheck was only as good as how many people you worked on. And, working for an owner who flat out did not believe in advertising, it was a daunting task to have the salon busy.
So, after a few years, I decided to re-enter the corporate world for a steady paycheck and the benefits. Not having to work every Saturday again was a bonus too. I went to work for a pharmaceutical company, where I have worked my way through our Maintenance & Metrology departments.
Personally, I was divorced after 10 years of marriage, but since have FINALLY found the right man who loves me for just the way I am! And, after being together for almost five years, he has asked for my hand in marriage. We have a blended family, the 2 of us with a total of 4 kids, ranging from ages 7, 9, 12 and 13. We will be spending a few weekends this summer camping, with having a few of our trips at Knoebels. The kids are involved in scouting, wrestling, basketball and soccer. I am my daughter's Girl Scout troop leader and help out with my son's Boy Scouts. It's a busy, yet fulfilling life. I am truly blessed!!!
